Clicking on web URLS in files - I want launched in Firefox. Hippo Edit can be configured to do this - but the research and work needed to achieve should simply be checking a box in the settings menu.

Yes, this is a bug. Will be fixed in next 1.49 beta.

Yes, it is Tools->Options->General->Help->
Select "Use the external Help browser"
